Crucible tongs are essential tool for metal melting and casting. Our set of tongs classified as a crucible lifting tong and metal pouring tong.
Metal Pouring Tong:
This tong is used to pour molten metal from crucible to casting pattern. It is made from heavy duty steel. It has a 6 inch diameter ring which securely hold 10 kg graphite crucible and 16 inch handle to protect hand from hot molten metal. This ring diameter can be enlarge to fit it to grip your 10 kg graphite crucible of any make.
Due to heavy weight of crucible with molten metal, one person can’t handle this tong. Hence two persons are required to operate this tong.

Crucible Lifting Tong:
This tong is used to grip the hot crucible and lifting crucible with full of molten metal from top of the furnace. It is made from heavy duty steel. It’s length is 32 inch which is enough to handle hot crucible. It is capable for lifting 1 kg to 10 kg graphite crucible with molten metal.
